Furniture Painting Workshop, February

Good Evening and a warm welcome (during a cold evening) to our blog. We hope to share our fun life with you, inspire you and help bring something beautiful to your day.

After teaching our first workshop, I can safely say it was one of my favourite parts of this 'job'. It was great fun, I could of chatted with the lovely ladies who attended for hours over lots of tea (lots) and cake but we had a job to do and boy it was tiring, I wonder if the students felt the same when they got home? When our final student left, slightly overdue as we all got carried away nattering (it was great that everyone left with new friends as well as revamped furniture and techniques) and the lights on the studio turned out, we collapsed in a heap on the sofa with no idea where the time went but feeling very satisfied and joyful.

Our workshops are a full day, nestled in the serene Cambridgeshire countryside. We aim for a fun and informal day that will allow you to take home not only the techniques and know how to paint furniture but the confidence to transform old and tired furniture into new and loved pieces for your home.

After a day teaching yesterday and more studio time today, the weekend seems to have disappeared in the blink of an eye, I'm looking forward to a naughty pizza and a soak in some bubbles this evening before Monday starts with a big bang, it's another busy one!
